PCB® offers specially designed and rigorously tested ICP® accelerometers specifically engineered for conducting precise vibration and shock measurements under the most demanding and challenging environmental conditions, withstanding temperatures of up to 356 °F (180 °C).
These advanced sensors integrate proven quartz and ceramic shear sensing technology along with specialized, built-in microelectronic signal conditioning circuitry to guarantee reliable and consistent operation even in extreme temperature environments and through extensive repetitive temperature cycling. Their laser-welded, hermetically sealed, lightweight titanium or stainless steel housings provide enhanced protection against harsh environmental factors.
Before shipment, each sensor is subjected to a comprehensive battery of stringent tests to ensure durability and survivability for its intended industrial applications. These rigorous tests include prolonged temperature soak at elevated temperatures, extensive temperature cycling, and exposure to highly accelerated screening procedures using hydraulically actuated shakers to simulate real-world operating stresses.
